My biggest hurdle that I overcame in starting my business was getting my foot in the door with advertising agencies. To my younger self, in starting my business, my advice would be not to let anyone discourage you from reaching your dream and to stay away from non-productive and negative people. My proudest moment was, and still is, in being able to put Black golfers on the cover of a national magazine and to continue to showcase the amazing talent and skills of our demographic like NO OTHER golf magazine does.
